In order to make sense of the product criteria and features, sitemap design helps the product team, stakeholders, and developers to have an overview and the scope of the effort. With the sitemap approved, we translated it into the UI screen to ensure the functions are properly represented.

Results

One initial key metric was getting to a live working mobile & desktop app for a 2,000-person beta test in 10 weeks.

The Prep product was a success in that it validated that students desired additional study content and were willing to pay for it if it was high quality.  We received 13.2k subscribers in the first 3 months and made 26K revenue on the premiums decks purchased. his, in part, led to Channels.

The expert decks themselves were subsequently rolled into the P+ version of eText due to their success. As of today, the app is integrated into the Pearson Plus reading experience, and the app was removed for revenue generation purposes. In retrospect, we made the first app for Pearson Higher Ed to release in the app store and receive revenue.
